Exercise To Improve Sex
Better Shape for Better Sexual FunctionSexual function is affected by general health, and the more you can do to improve your health by taking good care of yourself, the better your life can be. Keep in mind that exercise have been proven to help reduce stress. Doctors at the New England Research Institute found that regular, vigorous exercise can be effective at lowering impotence risk. Vigorous exercise - the equivalent of walking two miles or burning 200 extra calories a day - was most effective. Doctors believe that exercise has the effect it does on increasing sexual potency because it strengthens the cardiovascular system and improves circulation. Good circulation is important for sexual function. The Archives of Sexual Behavior published the first study that actually trained people and then correlated their fitness changes with sexual behavior. In this study, 78 sedentary but healthy men (average age 48 years) participated in moderate aerobic exercise program, mainly jogging and cycling, 3 to 4 days a week for 9 months. At the end of the study, the men reported a significant increase in their sexual arousal, activity, function, and satisfaction. Exercise can increase total blood volume, the oxygen carrying capacity of the blood, the amount of blood delivered to the various organs (including the genitals), and testosterone levels --- all of which have the potential to enhance sexual behavior. Essentials are the muscles of the thighs and abdomen.Strengthening the thighs and abdomen muscles can be done with several exercises. Performing various exercises for the same muscle group is important for muscular growth. Leg lifts and crunches are ideal for the abs and for the thighs : lunges and squats. Crunches and leg lifts must be performed with slow repetitions and meticulous form. If you want to have a flat stomach, crunches should be implemented into your daily routine: 3-4 sets of 25 repetitions are recommended daily. Also, try 3 or 4 days of cardio exercise like running, walking or swimming. Always consult your physician before beginning any weight loss or fitness program.
